Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language (CILS)
We would like to inform the families of students studying Italian as a third or fourth language (L3 and L4) that the European School of Woluwe has recently entered into an agreement with the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels and the University for Foreigners of Siena, to offer our pupils the opportunity to sit the exams for the Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language (CILS) at our school, according to their level of proficiency.
The next dates for sitting the exams are 16 June (registration by 20 April) and 3 December 2026. The agreement will remain in force for the entire coming academic year and may be renewed in subsequent years.
The IIC in Brussels will present the CILS Certification during a short meeting, to be held online on Tuesday 14 April, on the Team platform.

Informiamo le famiglie degli studenti di Italiano L3 e L4 che la Scuola Europea di Woluwe ha recentemente attivato una convenzione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Bruxelles e l’Università per Stranieri di Siena, ente certificatore, per offrire alle nostre alunne e ai nostri alunni la possibilità di sostenere presso il nostro Istituto gli esami per il conseguimento della Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera (CILS ), secondo il proprio livello di competenza.
Le prossime date utili per candidarsi agli esami sono il 16 giugno (iscrizioni entro il 20 aprile) e il 3 dicembre 2026. La convenzione resterà in vigore per tutto il prossimo anno scolastico e sarà rinnovabile negli anni successivi.
L’IIC di Bruxelles presenterà alle famiglie interessate la Certificazione CILS durante un breve incontro, che si terrà on line martedì14 aprile, sulla piattaforma Team.
