European Exam 2026
On the occasion of Europe Day, the Lithuanian Section of our school once again actively took part in the traditional European Exam – a short, engaging, and enjoyable quiz on knowledge of the European Union.
It is not a formal test that requires prior preparation or memorising dates, but rather a fun and meaningful activity for the whole family, inviting everyone to test their knowledge and learn something new about Europe.
Now organised for the seventeenth time, the European Exam brings together thousands of participants. This year, as many as 31,461 people from Lithuania and Lithuanian communities around the world took part. The exam is organised by the European Commission Representation in Lithuania together with Lithuanian National Radio and Television and is patronised by the President of the Republic of Lithuania. The initiative is also supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, EUROPE DIRECT centres, and the Young European Team.
Participation in this exam not only deepens knowledge about Europe but also strengthens civic awareness and a sense of community. In addition, participants can look forward to attractive prizes every year.
We are proud that teachers and students of the EEB2 Lithuanian Section take part in the European Exam each year. This year, the particularly active S6 LTA philosophy students stood out, enthusiastically engaging in this meaningful initiative together with their teacher.
