Successful Follow-Up Repair Café Workshop

We are happy to announce that our second Repair Café workshop was flashing and buzzing!

It was held on February 10th, the event focused on introducing students to small electronic components and their practical applications.

During the workshop, students engaged in hands-on projects, including building a metronome, an LED blinker, and railroad lights on breadboards. Before diving into these projects, the participants discussed repair initiatives and examined different electronic assemblies.

The materials for the workshop were prepared and provided by the dedicated team at REPAIR TOGETHER.

Working with small electronic parts and managing the circuits proved to be a challenging task. However, through concentration and dedication, the students successfully made the LEDs flash and the metronomes buzz.

A thank you goes out to the students for their enthusiasm and perseverance. We also extend our gratitude to the REPAIR TOGETHER (https://repairtogether.be/nl/startpagina/) team for their invaluable support and preparation, Caroline JEANJOT for organizing and Alexandre ORISTIL for advising and supporting the children.

Stay tuned for more exciting workshops and events as we continue to promote sustainability and the spirit of repair within our community.  Next to come: Visit the Repair Lab - March 26th  – few free places available for S1 and S2.
