EEB2 teacher Nicolas Duquenne did a terrific job getting our freshest Climate Academy students (from S5) ready to go head-to-head with MEPs in a live TV studio broadcast for the Overshoot Day Event.

We had sunshine, sweat, energy, and most importantly… we had a great team spirit!

On April 7, 8, and 9, 2025, end of primary and secondary school students from Woluwé and Uccle involved in the Armand Gatti Library Prize project (contemporary youth theater) presented their "favorite" session based on the winning plays "A bon port" and "Le poids des fourmis" in front of the respective authors Laurent Contamin (France) and David Paquet (Canada).

We are happy to announce that our third Repair Café workshop as excursion to a repair lab was exciting and fascinating.

Students from the Lithuanian section met with the Representative of Lithuania to the European Union Nerijus Aleksiejūnas. This meeting was part of the project "Back to School".

A third project has been selected for the Teachers Forum in Cyprus in the Posters Presentation category. This is the artistic project ‘FROM THE CANVAS TO THE STAGE: ART IN MOTION’ by Silvana Cigognini.

The European Commission childcare services will launch the registration for the after-school childcare (APPS) in Brussels for the next school year 2025-2026.

Fames is a festival held every two years, for all the European and accredited schools to celebrate Art and Music.

Due to the clash with their school trips, the S6 students who prepared a project for the ES Science Symposium competition will not be able to attend this event at the European School of Brussels I next week.

The long-awaited opening of the art exhibition by primary school pupils from the Woluwe site took place on Wednesday 2 April. An exceptional event, coordinated by Mrs Silvana Cigognini and Mr Bernardino Pacheco. The children brilliantly expressed their talent through paintings, sculptures and other magnificent creations, capturing the imagination and emotion with a mastery that was impressive for their age.

The enrolment calendar for the 2025/2026 school year has just been published on the European Schools' website. However, the document 'Policy on enrolment in the Brussels European Schools for the 2025/2026 school year’ will only be available on the 3rd of January 2025.
