Children’s Creative Initiative Fund Events

The Children’s Creative Initiative Fund is a non-governmental organisation in Lithuania working in the fields of education and culture. Its activities encourage children to learn, apply their knowledge in practice, think critically and creatively, work independently, develop a wide range of skills, and discover and express their talents.

Importantly, the Fund provides opportunities not only for children living in Lithuania but also for Lithuanian students around the world. For many pupils, it is valuable to see their achievements in a broader peer context.

Every year, the Fund organises numerous competitions. Students from the Lithuanian Section of EEB2 actively participate in several of them and proudly represent their school with excellent results. This year, students from S1 to S6 took part in the following competitions:

  • Kangaroo Languages Competitions - 49 students participated in the Lithuanian Language Kangaroo; across different age groups they earned 1 Silver Kangaroo and 4 Orange Kangaroos. 5 students took part in the English and French Languages Kangaroos, earning 1 Silver Kangaroo.
  • Translation Competition - 15 students translated texts from English and French into Lithuanian, and 13 of them became laureates.
  • Illustration Competition “Your Gaze” - 13 students illustrated literary works from various cultures, and 6 of them were awarded as laureates.

The students were prepared for the competitions by L1 Lithuanian teachers Audronė Anulienė and Aistė Zailskienė.
